May 29, 2023 - Airplanes

What's up everyone! This week has been pretty chill. It's been hard to get people to progress very well so that can be frustrating but we're staying after it and God has been giving us little tender mercies along the way.

One of the best parts of my area and the best part of being on bikes is that the airport is in my area. So there's this bike path right at the bottom of the runway so if we're lucky when we're biking past we'll see airplanes land and take off. I didn't realize how cool planes are until my mission haha. But there were some planes practicing touch and go's so we stopped and took some videos and photos. I'll drop the photos down below

We did the Murph for memorial day and it was brutal but awesome. So you run a mile, do 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 squats and run another mile. I did it in 43 minutes so I felt pretty good about it haha.

Our friend Berson came to church again so it's been a whole month which is pretty amazing. Here's a little tender mercy... we were finding and it was pretty slow and I was a little unmotivated ngl haha. I told Elder Olsen we should say a quick prayer and we did and 1 min later we found a lady who wanted us to come back to talk with her and her kids! She wasn't there for the appointment the next day but I really appreciated God giving us a little motivation and help!

Everyone go watch the video the church just put out about Elder Clark E. Gilbert's talk about the parable of the slope! It's the best, to sum it up: God and Christ care a lot more about your slope of your life and where you're headed then where you're at!
